After an injury while deployed in Iraq, he changed his MOS to SAT/COM and began to focus on Emergency Disaster Management and later earned bachelors' degrees in Emergency Management and Homeland Security. He transitioned from the Army a

He transitioned from the Army as a firearms professional working in firearms manufacturing, firearms sales, and long-range competitive shooting. His interests in preparedness eventually led him to a career in insurance. Still an active shooter and avid outdoorsman in the Tennessee Valley, Chris imparts his knowledge from experience.
